PLC Trainers that Simulate Real-Life Scenarios

Interconnecting Automation has developed a unique Drives Trainer that goes beyond the typical spinning disk on a motor shaft. Instead, we coupled the motor to a Servo drive. Using an 8" color touch screen, over a serial modbus network, a student can adjust the load of the Servo and increase the torque to twice the load the AC motor is capable of producing. This will trip the frequency drive and a student can look at the error codes from the frequency drive. An instructor will be able to show a student what settings affected the performance of the Frequency drive under a simulated torque load.
